When it comes to milking cows on a farm in Nicaragua you must take chances, and do it. In Nicaragua there is something we have called Nica time. We have termed this because the Nicaraguans can be late or take a long time to do somehting. The manager of our hostal kept telling us to come down and milk the cows sometime, the manager told us to go at six in the morning. So we did, we went to go milk the cows. The night before we went mom set her alarm on her phone. The next morning mom woke up to the alarm but the rest of us didn't. Mom went outside and looked for the cows, at first she couldn't find them, so she read her Bible. When she finished reading she got back to looking and found them. Meanwhile, Levi woke up, and mom showed him where the cows were. When mom was finished showing Levi she came back to our room and found me and Noah awake. Mom woke up Lucas and we all walked out to the cows. The man who was in charge of milking the cows said Levi could go first. Levi wasn't sure if he was calling me or Levi, but he was calling Levi since he was there first. When it really was my turn I stepped up and did it, the little dangling thingy was really squishy, when you squeezed it it felt like squeezing a plastic bag full of mud. During my turn the cow started to lift up his tail, I didn't notice that so I just kept milking until the guy in charge pulled me away. Shortly after he pulled me away the cow let out a big mud pie. A little of the cow's poo splattered on me, but I handled it, knowing I'm living on a farm. After my turn, mom went, mom only went for a little, its awefully squishy. It took a little for Noah to decide, but he made up his mind to do it. When every one finished we started down the trail and walked back. On our way back we saw a ton of cows being led to their field. When we got back down into our hostal room and told our sleeping daddy what we just did, and then went up for breakfast.
