2021 on the road still
The SA government of the day commissioned Goyder to determine a line below agriculture was likely to succeed and north of the line was unlikely to succeed In the 1870's good unseasonal rains encouraged farmers to settle north of the Goyder Line For about ten years they profited but then the lean times came again and many settlements and stations were abandoned
Curiously enough it's happening again to farmers north of the Goyder Line

Jean Cooke Good to see that you are making good progress. Many Happy Returns for your birthday Derrick. And best wishes to you both for your wedding anniversary. Keep enjoying the trip and keep cool. This week will be pretty hot. Cheers Jean
Bob Lord Not a good time to be there so please take care - I know you have the firee experience to do that. Spoils the touring though.
