EU Travels 2017
After a morning spent locking the house, clearing the fridge and forgetting things, we set off from Dawlish. But we were happy. Exeter Chiefs had beaten Wasps and the won the championship final at Twickenham. SUch a fantastic day and what a success for a small club from a small city in the south-west. Actually not so small but a club built on ideals and and team spirit.
Easy drive except for two or three very heavy downpours, rain thundering into the van like hail, with deep puddles scattered over the road and spary everywhere. Not that there was any in Shoreham. Dry as a bone!
So now we have a few days with Ray, quietly preparing for sea crossing after a hectic day with Catherine and William on Wednesday.
