A day in Santa Teresa is usually simple, my parents take turns waking up early, because us kids seem to be waking up even earlier than when were in the States. When my mom wakes up early she always makes pancakes, when my dad wakes up early we eat toast and cereal. When everyone is awake we start school, usually we start with math, then onto grammer, and then Spanish. The three subjects I just mentioned are all workbooks, and we also have a lot of learning apps. Before Spanish sometimes we put on sunscreen and let it sit while we do our lesson, so that we can jump in the pool after the lesson. Sometimes dad goes surfing while we do school. A normal lunch is usually raman soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, or quesadillas. If we had a beach day we would always go to the little river that the rain made, at the river I would play restaurant at the waters edge, and have mommy come eat. A fun game we play a lot is called UNO, sometimes we practice are spanish by saying rojo tres, which means red 3 refering to the cards. We usually go to the super market everyday, were always running low on something. We don't own a car so we do a lot of walking, I'm already used to walking so its always different when I ride in a car. Swinging on the hammocks is so fun, we treat the hammocks like swings on a playground, sometimes we push each other on the hammocks. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we go to an after shool program at Puedo School. Me, Levi, and Noah go to the after school program. I really like the after school program, on the first day I was pretty nervous though, but that's another story.
