This was an interesting exercise First we had to book online. The photos of the sites were postage sized and could not be expanded so Derek chose one with space for two vehicles and it said rocky We didn't anticipate a piece of rock jutting out into the sea The wind was extremely strong so we only stayed two nights instead of the three we had planned
See album Wanagarren Nature Reserve
Getting out of the reserve was eventful Derek had to lower the tyres to travel up a steep and scalloped sandhill. When Derek went to blow up the tyres the compressor gave out after two tyres - a lopsided truck! Close by was a fishing shack community and thankfully one resident was at home He very generously started up his generator and compressor to fill the other two tyres. We were most grateful.
As it was getting later by this time we pressed onward to west of Jurien Bay to find our next campsite which was again on a reserve next to Le Seur National Park What a disappoinment - beautifully appointed but with sloping camp sites and absolutely nothing to do except go to Jurien Bay and do walks in the National Park
